Gagan is passionate about technology and has been running his business’s since he was 11 years old. He is a trained chef, and an Electronics Engineer by Education, and runs a couple of ventures in the IT Space, E-Commerce Space and the Digital Media Space. He also has a private Angel Fund which he uses to invest in early stage companies that he believes in.
An Active Rotarian, Gagan and his Wife both work passionately in the Social sector, focussing on Education Access to all and Enabling Financial & Social Upliftment for those who are disconnected.
Gagan also writes a weekly column on Technology in The Hindustan Times, The Open Magazine and can be spotted on Television giving his opinion or delivering talks on entrepreneurship and technology. He also blogs – more about food these days than technology and spirituality – which are very close to his heart.
Billion Ables is the brainchild of Sameer Garg, the organization’s Founder, Managing Director & CEO. An academician with 20+ years of experience in universities and corporate, Sameer has also been associated with various publication houses and e-learning companies as a faculty, an editor and an author. Being a paraplegic himself, he has a firm understanding of the struggles and challenges faced by the differently-abled in the world. With Billion Ables, his vision is to revolutionize the world of differently-abled.
An innovative and energetic person, Deepak holds the position of Director at Billion Ables. He believes in creating an inclusive and independent society for the differently-abled, which is accessible and sustainable. He is pursuing B.Tech from Kurukshetra University. His area of interest is web, android and IOT devices. He has participated in various hackathons and workshops.
Dr. Divya is a Doctorate in Rehabilitation Psychology in 2004, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA. After having stayed in the US for 8 years, she returned to India, and started working as a Rehabilitation Psychologist at the Indian Spinal Injuries Centre.
Her area of interest has been in positive psychology: the power of self-beliefs, the power of one’s own perceptions of the situations around one, the focus on self & self-efficacy.
Her work is in the field of trauma—providing support to people with spinal cord injuries (SCI). These are mostly young individuals, whose life is suddenly altered by an injury which leaves them paralyzed often neck or waist down, depending on the site of the injury. They might have limited use of hands, and no mobility in their lower limbs in the case of complete injuries.
Ruchira is the South Asia Lead for Technology,Media and Telecom Investment at International Financial Corporation (IFC). She is the alumni of IIT Delhi, IIM Ahmedabad , Wharton (Palmer Scholar). She also holds CFA and is a recipient of National Talent Scholarship.
A seasoned professional having 20 years experience across several industry subsectors and functional areas including Investment banking and private equity, Equity and debt investments, angel investing and M&A.
She co-founded and developed a technology start up from 3 to 150 employees over 3 years with exit through a strategic sale

Preeti Monga is the Founder and CEO of the Silver Linings Trust & Silver Linings Services, plus, Director Project, of Project Jyoti of the Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital! Her Work encompasses, promoting Comprehensive Inclusion of People with Disabilities into mainstream society, supporting Gender issues, facilitating Cornea Retrieval; in addition, she runs an Executive Search and training business.
Herself blind since childhood, has been singlehandedly working towards improving lives; directly/indirectly impacting millions through her unremitting and arduous efforts for the last 3 decades now! Preeti is the first visually impaired Aerobic instructor in the country and also is an outstanding motivational speaker. She conducts trainings to promote and facilitate Inclusion of people with disabilities in the corporate sector, as well as, provides consulting and trainings for Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplaces!
Sales, fund raising and writing are her other areas of expertise. Reading traveling and networking are her passions.
Preeti’s mission is to empower and mainstream persons with disability, to help restore eye sight via exponentially increasing Cornea Retrieval and to inspire everyone to live with Dignity!
Her autobiography named ‘The Other Senses’ has been published by Roli Books.
Despite being visually impaired, Preeti has always stood her ground and rooted herself in the mainstream with dedication and unrelenting perseverance as her key strengths.
Some of her prestigious awards are: The National Award 2013 by The President of India, Exceptional Achievement in Entrepreneurship Award from the Delhi Government 2015, the ‘Red and White Bravery’ Award, the ‘Rajeev Gandhi Manav Seva’ Award; in addition, she was Awarded the Ashoka Fellowship and also the Karamvir Fellowship, and the list goes on!
